About
The World is an interesting place with a plethora of things to do, research, and enjoy. There are so many opportunities and things to do, that I am certain that I will never get to do everything in my lifetime, but I will die trying. My life’s experiences shape who I am, just as they shape who you are. Some of us are couch potatoes with little or no interest in anything, and then there are people like me who question everyone, never stop talking, and just love to learn.
In the music realm I play bass, acoustic guitar, ukulele, and drums. For sports and outdoors I kayak, canoe, bike, hike, Rollerblade, skateboard, camp, and fish. In the kitchen I concoct world cuisine, local food, and bake. In the home I clean, organize, plan, and maintain various things. With my children I play, go to their events, talk and listen to them, help them with homework, and teach them to how to navigate in this World. In marriage, I work to be a great husband. In my free time I travel, read, do photography, write poems, and blog.
April 10, 2020! Happy Seventh Anniversary of blogging to me. I set out to have over 35,000 visitors and reached my goal to have 37,683 visitors. Thank you friends, bloggers, readers!!! I am really proud that each year I see continued growth.
Thank you to those who liked my posts, visited my pages, and truly understand the term diversity which is respect for others regardless of whether you agree with them or not.

Hi Albert, thanks for stopping by my blog and the follow, looking forward to seeing more of your work, 🙂
Ed thanks for stopping by my blog too. It has been an interesting experience thus far. I am learning what people like, and surprisingly photography is leading in all categories. I would have never guessed! I look forward to sharing many more photos.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I look forward to reading more of yours.
Your welcome.
You do make food seem quite appetizing! I’m also new to blogging, I have to admit I’m also enjoying myself thus far! Well met.
Thank you Wuji! I like to take food in it’s simplest form and enjoy it. There are a lot of great chefs that mix and match the strangest things, but at the end of the day simplicity rules for me.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. You have some lovely photos here. Looking forward to seeing more from you!
Thank you so much! I look forward to taking many more. There is so much beauty all around.
I nominated you for the Liebster Award. It’s for new-ish bloggers who have a lot of potential. I posted instructions on how to accept it. I love your blog, keep up the good work!
Thank you! You are the second person who has told me that today.
Really? Haha that is awesome!
Very impressive! What don’t you do Albert? 🙂 Great work! Going to try out your recipes!!!
Thank you! There is a lot I do not do, but hope to one day do it. LOL! I do not know how to knit.
Thank you very very much for visiting and commenting my photo gallery, Unfortunately I’m not able to reply to you on my photos (I don’t know how to do it 🙂 )
Hi there,,
I really like your fire hydrant Haiku, and I was hoping to use it on a newsletter from the Water department that I work for. Can you contact me?
Hello, Ms. Santner,
Thank you for your inquiry. I would be happy to allow you to use my haiku as part of your water department letter. All that I ask is that you give me full credit in the article. Written by Albert Moyer, Jr. Will you be able to get me a copy of the newsletter upon completion?
Hi Albert,
I’m a reporter for Business Insider, and I’m wondering if we could have permission to use your photo of farmed vs. wild salmon in a story about how breeding has changed the animals we eat.
Thanks,
Tanya
Sure.
Hope your summer is going well so far. As promised, I finally got my blog up and running. It’s still a work in progress, but one step at a time. Here’s the link, and I hope you’ll stop by at least now and then – https://insane4twain.wordpress.com/
My summer is going great! Hot as always. I am glad to hear you set your blog up. You are a great writer and I imagine it will do well after about a year or so. It takes a little while. I will definitely check it out and follow you.
