Billy Bob’s, located in Fort Worth, Texas, is the largest honky-tonk in the world at around 100,000 square feet. The club can hold close to 6,000 patrons. This club has activities, food, live music, and more bars than the most serious drinker can handle. To add to all that excitement, they have live bull-riding in the club. The club is notorious for attracting some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Inside the handprints of stars can attest to that. The place has a slight museum quality to it along with it being a spot for many films. It is a great place to have a great time with friends or to meet some new ones. Here are a few photos I took while doing a tour before the crowds arrived. Enjoy the photos and for more info on Billy Bob’s view their website here. http://billybobstexas.com/

Fort Worth Stockyards

The Fort Worth Stockyards in Fort Worth, Texas are a magnificent preservation of Texas history, and the way things once were once upon a time. The stockyard area is loaded with fine restaurants serving a variety of food, but I must add that this is beef country. This area is home to great steaks. The people of Fort Worth Stockyards area are helpful, courteous, and willing to answer any of your questions. The highlight for me was the daily cattle drives of beautiful longhorn cattle walking right down the original brick roads of exchange street. There were also recreations of gunfight’s with the sheriff taking out the outlaws. The stockyards were so enjoyable, that I will definitely be going back to enjoy. One other added bonus is the largest honky-tonk in the world called Billy Bob’s. I’ll post some photos of Billy Bob’s on another post. Enjoy the photos and make a trip to the Fort Worth Stockyards!
Gaylord Texan Grapevine, Texas

The Gaylord Texan is the largest most magnificence hotel/resort I have ever seen. It is located in wonderful Grapevine, Texas. The people in Grapevine are courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and might I add it is the Christmas Capitol Of Texas. This hotel can cater to the smallest wedding, or the largest of corporate events, because of their massive convention center on location. There are four fantastic restaurants serving Italian, Mexican, American Fair, and a Steakhouse. My favorite is the River Cantina. It provides the feel of being right on the San Antonio Riverwalk. Out of ten stars, I give this hotel and eleven. I tried to capture the vibe through photos, but as with anything in life, it doesn’t beat being there. Enjoy the photos!

I must say that I HIGHLY recommend the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas. Grapevine has some really nice people in the town, and the Great Wolf Lodge offers amenities and service like none other. This hotel/resort has it all. The only thing I can add is make sure your pockets are full, because everything is a la carte. Here are some photos from the lodge. Everything is truly bigger in Texas!

A Time I Thought I Would Never See
Posted: December 12, 2013 in ReligionTags: Christianity, Christmas, Education, God, How times have changed, Jesus, Lord, Mount Soledad, Religion and Spirituality, Teacher
When I was a young man and my teacher’s guided me from sadness, due to a variety of issues in my life, often, I was told to have faith in Jesus. My teachers were loving and caring people who would give their life to see that mine were better. They would stay on the job 40 years before retiring, and not lose a lick of presentation, or teaching skills. Today, we have teachers that will only stay on the job for three years, because they care not about their students, but for free college tuition guarantees for teaching a few years. Of course the system loves them, because as long as they turn them over within three years, the payroll never goes up.
When I was a young man, I remember the majority of people going to the many churches in my neighborhood. People praised God, had dinners together, fellow-shipped, and thoroughly enjoyed life. Fast forward thirty years later, and most of the churches in my neighborhood have closed their doors do to lack of attendance, people stick to themselves for the most part, and there is much more unhappiness. The funny thing is the material wealth in my neighborhood has exploded due to favorable market conditions. One would think that with all the wealth, material gains, and conveniences happiness would excel.
When I was a young man, I never heard much about gay relationships, sex change operations, human-trafficking, drugs, hard-core pornography, teacher-student sex, booty calls, kids killing kids, mass school shootings, kids killing their parents, parents killing their kids, people eating people, people killing people for the fun of it, daily murders, rapes, robberies, gluttony, prescription drug abuse, baby daddy’s, baby momma’s, massage parlors, teachers and police using and selling drugs, corporate theft, etc.,etc. I could go on and on about how society is degrading into sinfulness over praising the Lord, and loving each other.
The evil people are using a twist of God’s verse of love to validate the right to be sinful on a daily basis. When people act willingly to disobey God’s law without trying to avoid the pitfalls of sin, God tells us they are not Christian. He tells us that we will know them by what they do. If people are doing wrong and stating,”Hey, you can’t judge me, only God can judge me.”, while maintaining sinful ways, we are to show them our love, but God again tells us to know them.
Today’s time is a time I thought I would never see. I never thought I would see a society turn against Jesus or God. God is true freedom, and not bondage as many misinformed people state with their hate-filled hearts. I never thought I would see Christmas become a bad word, biblical references, and nativities removed, soldiers and teachers threatened for praying, and monuments like Mt. Soledad’s ordered torn down. American was founded on God. Here is reference for those who do not believe it. http://www.wallbuilders.com/LIBissuesArticles.asp?id=63
Only God knows what he has planned, but many signs of the season point to an ominous future of hate. This hate will come from the very ones professing tolerance. An Atheist society void of God has already been done in history and it was HELL. You can read about it in this book. http://torturedforchrist.com/ Read about what an Atheist society void of God brings to people. You will find that it is not freedom, but bondage and torture.
