Everyone loves my Banana Bread so I made a short video recipe for those of you out there who want to bake your own. It is really more time consuming than complicated. I found the recipe years ago on Epicurious and have been using it ever since. It makes a wonderful Christmas gift, office party hit, or for your own daily enjoyment. Torchy’s Tacos

Torchy’s Taco’s runs with a motto of “Damn Good.” Well, I finally got around to trying them out. Their motto lives up to it’s name. I had a great experience with service and the quality of food. If you love a BIG fat taco like me, then you got to try em’! Oh, and the chorizo queso is legit. Pass the chips!

Do you ever look out and suddenly see beauty? Well, that happened to me as I strolled through Stephen F. Austin High School’s garden courtyard area. This school has been around for 80 plus years and soon it will meet the wrecking ball. Older buildings just have a special photographic architecture and beauty about them. These photos captured a place and time that will soon be no more other than history.

When We Die

They say I am too low,

I say they are too high.

One thing is certain.

The grave is waiting,

When we die.
