These are but a small collection of photos I recently shot at the Vicksburg National Military Park and U.S.S. Cairo Museum. To visit the second largest battlefield outside Gettysburg that was so important to American history was a privilege. To see the first armored battleship was also a privilege. It opened my mind to so many perspectives and gave me increased knowledge that I’ll be able to carry and share with others. One quote that stood out to me from an unknown soldier was, “If someone would have just asked us the war would have been over in an hour.” Powerful!
