Recently, I stopped in for a visit at the McNay Art Museum. From the moment I drove up to the grounds I was in awe. There were sculptures, beautiful gardens, multiple paintings, and a mansion I was ready to walk into and see. Upon entering, I learned the mansion had two wings. A new wing and the original mansion section. In the new section, I viewed the de la Torre brothers exhibit. It was creativity on a higher order level. It had a deep meaning that some I’m sure will struggle with. In the original section, I found many historical art pieces and a beautiful mansion built like it is to last forever. It was exciting to see original Picasso and Monet pieces. This museum is a new favorite of mine and I’ll definitely be visiting again.
