A Big Alligator!
I took this photo at Brazos Bend State Park.
I estimate the size at about 12 feet and 500 plus pounds.
I was 30 feet away when I shot the photo. Brave or stupid? LOL

Brazos Bend State Park is where I saw my very first alligator in the wild. That was 35 years ago.
There are plenty of them to see! This photo might be of the one you saw. They live quite awhile.
