Photographic Textures in the Wild

On a recent seven-mile hike, I decided to capture textures while shooting photos. All around me I was amazed at the different textures. There is so much to see when one truly opens their eyes. For me when I look around the world, I see God’s hand. The complexity of every single organism. The design and innerworkings of every creature benefiting from each other. Often, I think of this verse, Romans 1:20,” For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. The Year In Food 2023

2023 was an awesome food year! Again, I focused my culinary energy on the good times. Birthdays, Anniversaries, Special days and holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving. For me a meal means so much more than filling my stomach. Often there are good times involved and the meal is a marker of those good times. I can often look at the meal photo and remember what happened while I was enjoying it. It was great to share so many great meals with so many great people in 2023. It was also great to try a few new dishes. Super memories! This year, like last year, I have chosen to squeeze in some photos of my own dishes as well as some of the dishes I enjoyed that were cooked by family members. Food is not only great to taste and enjoy, but a beautiful sight to see. Thank you for supporting my blog with your readership. I’m going into my eleventh year of blogging now. That’s in between work and my drumming YouTube Channel. Wow, time flies! May God continue to provide.
