My computer has been slow lately and I used everything under the sun to test it for Malware/Adware/Viruses. I even ran the Windows utilities Scan Disk and Disk defragmentor. To no avail, I could not figure it out, until I downloaded the following test utility for hard drives.

After I ran the scan, I found that my hard drive is on the verge of crashing after four years. I now have time to replace it and mirror it before it is gone.

Crystal Disk is one awesome program!

Shut Down – A Tanka Poem

No More Space Shuttle,

Blue Angels, or Thunderbirds.

No more money left.

America is shut down.

Will she ever rise again?

Recently the band I play with had the privilege of playing the 33rd Annual Medina Lake Cajun Festival in LakeHills, Texas. The festival was well-managed and full of fun festive people. We had a great time! Here are some photos I took at the festival. Even though there is a drought that has caused a 97% reduction in lake water, the party is still happening.
