In between our freezing days in Texas, I got out and shot some photos of trees and moss. Moss has a beauty about it, especially when blowing in the wind. I hope you all enjoy the photos.

With all the rain lately, mushrooms have been sprouting up everywhere. Here is a nice macro photo I took of some unknown mushrooms.

I love to kayak when I can, and I love kayaks. Periodically, I get asked,”What is your favorite kayak?” My answer,”The one that get’s me on the water.” Here are some link of my favorite kayak brands.


I love the great outdoors! Lately, I have been checking out travel trailers. I love innovation, technology, low-profile, versatility, and light-weight trailers. These three companies fit all of those factors. If you love travel and the off-road vibe, I am sure you will love these sites too.

This photo was taken at the Houston Arboretum. I love the red in these leaves.


I took this photo at Bogue Chitto State Park in Louisiana. I do not know the flowers name, but it is beautiful. Perhaps someone can comment and  identify it.


I am not sure if tiger butterfly is the correct name, but it looks like tiger stripes, so that is what I am calling it.  I took this photo at the Cockrell Butterfly Center.
