Homeless

I have no nice house.

People treat me with contempt.

My heart hurts inside.

Equals zero. If you don’t

Do your part today,

Don’t expect anything friend,

Because of your poor effort.

Job Requirements

Provide affirmation, information, clarity about values, limits, boundaries, and guidance.

Establish clear boundaries with family power dynamics.

Establish a sense of confidence in the home along with authority.

Keep your child young as long as possible

Keep them away from things deemed for adults

Do not let T.V., advertisements, and peer pressure undermine your parental authority.

Teach children to respect and obey biblical authority, but to challenge sinful authority.

Teach them adults and children are not equal.

Teach them about entitlement; teach them they are entitled to love, care, and education, but not worldly possessions. Explain the difference between needs and wants.

Model values, purchasing habits, and communications skills

Hold tight to parental authority and stop any manipulation immediately.

Nurture your child from birth to adulthood and beyond

And always remember that no computer, television, or iPad, can teach your child how the world works.

You must teach your child. The best teacher is you the parent.

Proverbs 22:6 Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

Tabasco Sauce Factory

Posted: May 11, 2013 in Photography, Travel

One of my favorite hot sauce places is the Tabasco Sauce Factory in Avery Island, LA. Why would that be? I love hot sauce and I LOVE Tabasco. Upon touring one will learn the secrets of making Tabasco Hot Sauce which takes over three years. You will learn that it is shipped worldwide and bottles are labeled in different languages. In fact, China is one of the largest foreign importers of Tabasco.

There are free samples of jalapeno ice cream and hot pepper soda that you cannot get anywhere else. There is a country store to purchase anything Tabasco, and you’re in the heart of Cajun country. What could not be better than that? Oh! And Jungle Gardens is right next door. http://junglegardens.org/

This is another fun thing to do if you are in the area and love traveling. http://www.tabasco.com/avery-island/visitor-information/

Here are some of my photos that I have taken at the factory.

This is how the sauce is made in recycled Jack Daniel’s Whiskey barrels.

And let me tell you folks! Even the fish catch fire when they eat a Tabasco Pepper.

And all around the surrounding area one will see fields of sugar cane.

Having a hobby as a musician, I am often privileged to special parties and events. A few years back, I took several photos at the Lone Star Flight Museum http://www.lsfm.org/index.html  in Galveston, Texas while playing for the U.S.S. Texas Submarine Commissioning party for the United States Navy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Texas_%28SSN-775%29

The museum has a great collection of vintage war planes. If you want to do a draw down on your wallet, they also offer plane rides in a few selected aircraft.

So if you’re in Galveston, Texas, make a trip over to the museum, and learn a little about the history of flight.

Here are a few photos from the museum.
