When you want candy or ice cream this is the best stop in the heart of The Strand district on Galveston Island. La King’s will cure your sweet tooth! It has been around many years and survived a few hurricanes along the way. Here are a few photos. Oh, yum! For more information visit their website http://www.lakingsconfectionery.com/

Is there any wonder why we have more autism, A.D.D., food allergies, asthma, etc. The disease list get’s longer by the day. The drug companies love it too.
I would rather have beans, rice, tomatoes, potatoes, squash, corn, carrots, lettuce, onion, garlic, swiss chard, spinach, radishes, mustard greens, collard greens, peaches, apples, mangos, guavas, bananas, oranges, lemons, limes, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, grapes, cashews, almonds, avocados, jalapenos, etc. You get the picture. Nature food! I am sure that you recognize this list better than the list above as edible food.
It pays to read your food labels when you by food. In Texas, Blue Bell Ice Cream is a legend and everyone swears by it except this Texan. I prefer Haagen Daz because it is natural, true, ice cream.
