Birds just love to hang out when you give them a reason to be your friend. Often that reason is food. Spread a few seeds or place them in the feeder and you will have many visitors. They are comical to watch and a real challenge to photograph. So grab the camera, get some sunlight and vitamin D for your body, mind, and soul, and relax to their song and antics.

These photos were taken in Houston this week as a Red Tail Hawk swooped in for an easy dove meal. However, out of nowhere, he was under attack by a Mockingbird. It was quite a show! I hope you enjoy the photo set. Albert

These baby mockingbirds are in an orange tree with plenty of thorns. I doubt anything will ever eat them, as I have watched the mother, and father return every year to the same nesting location. I had to be quite careful not to get cut on thorns to get this macro photo.
