The Asian Hornet has mandibles that tear and rip apart prey, a sting that delivers neurotoxins that destroy flesh, and poison that signals other hornets to sting until the prey dies. I hope they stay in Asia. This is one tough hornet.

Philadelphia has their LOVE art and it is very popular for photography. I am very proud that Houston, one of the fastest growing cities in America, now has its own art too. Our art piece is much bigger than Philadelphia. Everything is bigger in Texas!

During my bike ride today, I noticed over three miles of trash along the bayou from heavy rains this weekend. It appalls me to hear people complain about oil companies, yet they don’t take time to throw away their own trash. This trash is polluting the globe at a phenomenal rate.  If I am correct, plastic takes over 80 years to degrade. People take your trash to the trash can! Stop ruining our waterways!

I was cruising down San Pedro Avenue in San Antonio,Texas, when I happened upon these cool wall murals. The people who painted these are not gangsters, or taggers, they are artists.

The Tomato Frog is from Madagascar. This thing can swell up and even secrete a toxin that causes a predators eyes and mouth to gum up.

Yesterday I went to our church’s first ever doggy day service. There were hundreds of dogs to take photos of all around the field. My eye caught this bulldog sticking its tongue out, so I waited patiently until for this photo opportunity.

When I stumbled across this tree on the internet my initial reaction was,”Wow! Majestic.” I am just always thrilled by all the amazing things our world has to offer. Here is the Awesome Banyan Tree.

This is actually an outdoor shelter that I stumbled across while walking a trail. It is not a very good one, but some protection is always better than no protection from the elements.

While walking along a trail I notice this really insteresting looking bark pattern that I have never seen before. I do not know what tree this is, but it has colorful bark. Perhaps one of you will identify this tree.
