Owl butterflies are known for their huge eye spots on their wings. I took this photo at Cockrell Butterfly Center at the Houston Museum of Natural Science.

A beautifully, bright yellow, sulfur butterfly enjoying nectar from the firefly flower. This photo was taken by me in Houston.

I am not sure if tiger butterfly is the correct name, but it looks like tiger stripes, so that is what I am calling it.  I took this photo at the Cockrell Butterfly Center.
