State parks are the best value and some of the most beautiful places a person can visit. Here is another favorite of mine. This park is named Inks Lake State Park in Burnet, Texas.  You can read about it here.  http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/state-parks/inks-lake

It has some great animal viewing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, canoeing, boating, fishing, tubing, photography opportunities, or whatever your mind can imagine.

Here are a few photos I took inside the park. I hope they inspire you to visit.

Thanks for stopping by to check out my work.

  1. I sang at a wedding in Burnet back in 1984. That’s when I discovered Balconies Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge for the first time. Excellent place to go birding.
