The BoardWalk Bullet is located in Kemah, Texas at the Kemah Boardwalk. With the closure of Astroworld, Houston’s only amusement park, it looked as if we would be a major metropolitan city without a roller coaster. Today, within 26 miles of downtown Houston, we have a wooden beast that is slightly bigger than the old Texas Cyclone at Astroworld. The bullet ratttles and rolls as it hits banked curves, steep drops, a camel back type hills. When looking at the coaster it looks as if there is not much to it, but the wooden beams hide much of the track. Once you are riding it quickly become obvious that you have entered a great coaster. Houston has a restaurant that can make your feel as if your right home in Southern Louisiana Cajun Country. This restaurant is known as Ragin Cajun. Ragin Cajun serves some of the best po-boys, red beans and rice, boudin balls, gumbo, etouffe, jambalaya, crawfish, shrimp, blue crabs, and oysters on the half-shell around. The accordion’s sing out of the speakers as Cajun music is played.  The tables inside are linked together, so you get a community feel, and often find yourself talking to complete strangers. Unless your related to the Scrooge, your tongue should dance to the flavors of Ragin Cajun. For more information visit http://www.ragin-cajun.com/

Thank heavens this was taken at the Houston Zoo, and this rattler was behind glass. He even looks mean! These snakes are so deadly, and if not deadly, they will leave scarring devastation. When in Texas tread lightly in the wild, and always be on the look out.

While camping in Huntsville State Park, I failed to close my vehicle’s door. A squirrel went in and helped himself to a Nature’s Valley Cinnamon Granola Bar.

One of the best times of year in Texas is Spring. The temperatures are mild and the wild flowers are in bloom. This was taken in Brenham, Texas. Brenham has some of the best bluebonnets and is home to Blue Bell Ice Cream.

Excitement, Celebration, Romance, Love, Mexican Food, and Margaritas! These are the many things that come to mind one thinks of the San Antonio Riverwalk. The Riverwalk is a series of canals created by lock and dams along the San Antonio River. It is a place that holds history, beauty, and adventure. The Riverwalk is bustling year round. My favorite time is Christmas when it is lit up with twinkling lights for miles. If you’re looking for a beautiful place with history, culture, photographic opportunities and friendly people, visit the San Antonio Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas.
