I have a lot of family and friends who live in New Braunfels, San Antonio, and Floresville (probably half of Floresville are relatives). They let me know when NBWR opened in 1984 and I’ve been many times. It’s a cool place.
Yes, it is! I love it. A big plus is the animals are free range.
The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is free range, and the Zoo itself (which is 45 miles from Safari Park, and 50 years older), is converting its exhibits to free range.
